วันนี้เกิดความคิดมุมมองใหม่เกี่ยวกับเรื่องนวัตกรรม โดยเฉพาะจากมุมมองของนวัตกรรมในเชิงเครือข่าย จริงๆก็ไม่มีอะไรใหม่ แต่ภาพในหัวมันชัดดี เลยเอามาเขียนไว้กันลืม
1. นวัตกรรมที่ประสบผลสำเร็จมักไม่ได้เกิดจากอัฉริยะข้ามคืน (Lone innovator)
2. นวัตกรรมใหม่ๆมักเกิดจากความซ้อนทับเชื่อมโยงกันของความรู้หรือนวัตกรรมเดิมๆที่มีอยู่แล้วในเครือข่าย แต่มาบรรจบกัน (intersect) ด้วยมุมมองหรือรูปแบบใหม่ๆ ซึ่งเรียกว่านวัตกรรมเชิงแปลง (recombinative innovations)
3. ดังนั้นนวัตกรรมจึงคล้ายกับเพลงซิมโฟนี่ซึ่งมีส่วนประกอบที่หลากหลาย มีการพัฒนาส่วนต่างๆตลอดเวลา เชื่อมซ้อน แบ่งรับ แบ่งสู้ สอดประสานกันอย่างลงตัวของหลากท่วงทำนอง ที่เมื่อรวมกันแล้วเกิดเป็นภาพรวมใหม่ที่ไพเราะมีความเป็นองค์รวมที่ไม่อาจแยกส่วนแล้วรู้สึกเหมือนเดิมได้
4. ยิ่งหากมองนวัตกรรมไม่ได้แยกเป็นชิ้นๆแต่เป็นในเชิงนิเวศ (Innovation-ecosystems) ซึ่งมีนวัตกรรมต่างๆเชื่อมโยงปฏิสัมพันธ์กันตลอดเวลาแล้ว ยิ่งคล้ายกับเพลงซิมโฟนี่ที่มีคุณภาพเข้าไปใหญ่ในเชิงว่าแนวทำนองที่หลากหลายต่างมีจุดเด่นของตนเอง มีเสียงจากเครื่องดนตรีต่างๆ ที่ผสมผสาน แบ่งช่วงกันในจังหวะที่หลากหลาย แต่สามารถรวมกันได้ พลักอารมรณ์ความรู้สึกของคนฟังไปในทิศทางเดียวกันได้ เช่นเดียวกับนวัตกรรมต่างๆที่เสริมเติมกันและกันในหลากหลายระดับ
5. บทบาทของนวัตกรในกระบวนการส่งเสริมนว้ตกรรมในลักษณะซิมโฟนี่ก็คือการดึงความสามารถของนักดนตรี ดูแลอารมณ์เพลง กำกับจังหวะ ให้ทุกสิ่งประสานสอดคล้องกันเป็นความสวยงาม เกิดความงามใหม่ในทุกๆช่วงเพลงแต่ก็กลมกล่อมในภวังค์
6. จริงๆหากให้สมจริงขึ้น มันจะไม่ใช่เพลงซิมโฟนี่แบบดั้งเดิม แต่จะเป็นเพลงซิมโฟนี่ที่เล่นแบบแจ็ซ ซึ่งแม้จะมีโน็ตกำหนดมาเบื้องต้น แต่ก็จะสามารถ improvise ได้ไม่มีที่สิ้นสุดในการหาสิ่งที่ใหม่และไพเราะออกมาจากโครงเดิมไปสู่ชีวิตใหม่ของโน็ตเหล่านั้น
7. การเล่นของวงจะต้องดึงความมีส่วนร่วมและความสนใจของคนดูให้ได้ ซึ่งทั้งความสามารถของ conductor และวง ทั้งในเชิงฝีมือการเล่นและการแสดงที่น่าตื่นเต้น ล้วนสำคัญกับการยอมรับของคนดู เช่นเดียวกับนวัตกรรมที่ต้องแพร่ไปผ่านผู้ใช้ในที่สุด
