ตอนที่ไปประชุมที่ Zurich กับ ResponsAbilityได้มีโอกาสไปร่วมงานของ The Hub ของชุมชน Zurich เลยได้ข้อคิดบางอย่างกลับมาด้วย
The Hub คือพื้นที่ทำงาน พื้นที่ชุมชนทั้งออฟไลน์และออนไลน์ ของผู้คนที่พยายามจะสร้างสรรค์วิธีการแก้ปัญหาสังคม สิ่งแวดล้อม และการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน รวมๆก็คือพื้นที่ทำงานร่วมกันของคนในวงการนวัตกรรมเพื่อสังคม ซึ่งเป็นลักษณะแฟรนไชน์มีนับสิบสาขาทั่วโลกส่วนใหญ่อยู่ในยุโรปและสหรัฐ ที่เอเชียก็กำลังเริ่มสร้างอยู่บ้าง ความเด็ดของ The Hub ก็คือมันกลายเป็นเครือข่ายของคนที่มีความคิดสร้างสรรค์สังคมในทุกๆวงการ ทำให้เกิดความร่วมมือ เกิดธุรกิจเพื่อสังคม เกิดโครงการด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม และอีกมากมายไปทั่วโลก แต่ก็ยังคงความเป็นกันเองและเป็นชุมชนอยู่ (ลองไปดูรายละเอียดของ The Hub ได้ที่นี่)
ผมเองก็พยายามจะนำ model แบบนี้มาทำในประเทศไทย ได้คุยกับสาขาแม่ที่ลอนดอนหลายรอบแล้ว เนื่องจากเราเองก็เริ่มมีชุมชนแนวๆนี้อยู่บ้างแล้ว แต่ก็ยังติดเรื่องการวางแผน และค่าเฟรนไชน์อยู่ ตอนแรกเลยว่าจะทำอะไรคล้ายๆกันไปก่อนแล้วค่อยว่ากันอีกทีเรื่องเชื่อมโยงกับ The Hub แต่พอได้ร่วมงานที่ชุมชน The Hub ของเมืองซูริค ซึ่งกำลังจะเริ่มสร้าง The Hub แล้วชวนเครือข่ายมาช่วยกันคิดว่าจะออกแบบอย่างไร จะใช้พื้นที่อย่างไร มีใครจะมาร่วมสร้างสรรค์ไอเดียอะไรเด็ดๆบ้าง ทำให้พบว่าบทเรียนสำคัญคือต้องสร้างชุมชนที่มีบทบาทร่วมกันขึ้นมาก่อน แล้วค่อยสร้างพื้นที่มารองรับชุมชนนั้นๆ (web the Hub Zurich)
และสิ่งที่สำคัญมากก็คือ The Hub นั้นเชื่อมระบบสมาชิกของทุกสาขาทั่วโลก จึงทำให้นักนวัตกรรมเพื่อสังคมที่เป็นสมาชิกสามารถเชื่อมโยงกันได้ สร้างความร่วมมือดีๆได้อย่างง่ายดาย เช่นตอนนี้ผมไปร่วมกิจกรรมที่สาขาซูริคเปิดพื้นที่ให้ชุมชนมาช่วยระดมสมองเรื่องการออกแบบการใช้พื้นที่นั้น ผมเจอองค์กร http://www.socential.org/ ที่ต้องการระดมทุนให้กับกิจการเพื่อสังคมทั่วโลก เขาก็อยากร่วมมือกับเราพยายามเชื่อมตลาดการลงทุนแนว CSR ของบริษัทและคนรวยๆอยากทำดีในสวิสเข้ากับกิจการเพื่อสังคมใน South East Asia หรือคนตั้ง The Hub ซูริค เองก็อยากทำโครงการที่จะเชื่อมโยงผู้ประกอบการเพื่อสังคมชาวสวิส กับผู้ประกอบการเพื่อสังคมในเอเชีย โดยเฉพาะการเชื่อมตลาดสินค้าและบริการต่างๆ ในลักษณะ Trade Network และเครือข่ายด้านนวัตกรรมเพื่อสังคมทั่วโลกทั้งในมุมบาย โตเกียว อามสเตอร์ดาม ฯลฯ ก็ต่างมีหรือกำลังสร้าง The Hub ขึ้นมาอยู่ เป็นกระแสโลกไปแล้ว เวลาคนพวกนี้เดินทางไปที่ต่างๆในโลก ก็มักจะแวะไปทำงานที่ The Hub สาขาต่างๆ กลายเป็นสิ่งที่เขาเรียกกันว่า Nomad Social Innovators ไปแล้ว
คนที่ได้เจอส่วนใหญ่ดูเหมือนจะเชื่อว่าถ้าอยากเปลี่ยนแปลงอะไร เลิกด่าคนอื่น แล้วมาช่วยกันทำ ร่วมมือได้กับทุกๆฝ่าย ทั้งรัฐ เอกชน มหาวิทยาลัย ฯลฯ แบบลื่นมาก (friction-less) ไม่เหมือนเวลาคุยกับคนที่สนใจเรื่องสังคมไทยหรือนักวิชาการไทย ที่คุยไปคุยมาก็จ้องจะจับผิดกันไปมา เดี๋ยวก็โทษรัฐ โทษเอกชน โทษประชาสังคม จะทำอะไรก็จะบ้ามีระยะห่าง ไม่ไว้ใจร่วมมือกับใครทั้งนั้น ประชาสังคมเอกชนจะทำอะไรก็ต้องประกาศว่าไม่เกี่ยวกับรัฐ สุดท้ายก็ต่างคนต่างทำ ไม่ค่อยเกิดอะไร ขยายผลก็ไม่ค่อยจะได้ ด่ากัน ระแวงกันอยู่อย่างนั้น ในชุมชน The Hub นั้นดูเหมือนสภาวะทางจิตของพวกเขาเต็มไปด้วยไฟสร้างสรรค์ที่อยากจะร่วมมือกับทุกฝ่ายไม่เกี่ยง เฮ้อ อิจฉาจัง
จากโอกาสเหล่านี้ก็เลยเริ่มคิดหนักว่า บางทีอาจจะจำเป็นต้องทำ The Hub จริงๆตั้งแต่ต้นสำหรับเมืองไทย เพราะมี Network Effect สูงมากๆสำหรับสมาชิก และเชื่อมโยงกับภารกิจของ ChangeFusion ค่อนข้างมาก คงต้องไปต่อรองเรื่องกระบวนการและต้นทุนจริงๆกับสาขาแม่อย่างจริงจังดูซะแล้ว
สรุปมุมมองสำคัญ
1. สร้างชุมชนก่อน แล้วสร้างพื้นที่ขึ้นมารองรับ
2. Network Effects ของ Social Entrepreneurs Network ทั่วโลก สามารถเชื่อมกลายเป็น trade network ได้
3. หากเมืองไทยมีชุมชนที่ในหัวเต็มไปด้วยการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมเพื่อสังคม ที่เน้นคิดกันเอง แล้วทำกันเลย คงจะพอหลุดจากสภาพวิกฤตขี้ระแวงกันไปมา บ้าวิพากษ์จนทำอะไรไม่ได้ซักอย่างนี้ไปได้ซักที
