Dream Infection

Gion’s shallow bamboo walk at dawn,
running water in tea garden,
red leafs’ pilgrim to silent earth.

Listening to the dead and the living,
touching the earth above and the sky below,
holding a dry leaf in heavy rain.

Am I the wind that feed your breath,
and the stars within your eyes,
the ocean holding your soul ?

Crossing deserts of thousand stars,
from Yangtze to Himalaya,
monasteries made up the sky below.

Another day dying,
amidst this floating world,
darkness clouds the sky.
